This year’s edition of the ICT event will be held in Vienna from 4-6 December and will give the floor to people who are the main driver of the digital transformation to present their work and discuss the challenges and the opportunities ahead of the technological revolution in Europe. ICT 2018 will present digital research and innovation policies, EU-funded research and innovation projects in the field of ICT, and showcase European entrepreneurship through a start-up village and a series of networking activities.

U4IoT booth

U4IoT will have an exhibition booth at the ICT 2018 conference. The booth will be dedicated to the presentation of the project and its supporting role for the LSPs, with a special focus on IoT security and data protection. Visitors will have the possibility to discover the various tools developed in the context of U4IoT. Furthermore, the booth will also demonstrate the solutions developed and adopted by U4IoT and by LSPs in the field of IoT security, data protection and privacy by design. Step by to meet us and discover our work!

U4IoT networking session

U4IoT will also organise a networking session for the LSPs during the ICT 2018 conference. Our session is scheduled for the 5th December, 09:00 to 09:45, in Hall L6/1 and is focused on IoT adoption barriers in IoT large-scale pilots (LSPs).The aim of this session is to bring together participants from the five LSPs as well as other IoT experts in the field, in order to identify and discuss the main barriers and/or enablers for end-users to adopt and use those IoT solutions in each of the five domains. The ICT 2018 Conference and in particular the U4IoT session is an excellent opportunity to meet experts on the topic and further shape your action plans for user-engagement in your project activities. Browse through the ICT 2018 website or contact for more information about the session. Please share this information also with your project partners.

The U4IoT team is looking forward to seeing you in Vienna!
